A millennium ago the great hero Remington Sharpfist Sealed away the dark god Timmuseht. A amulet was created by the Order of Lys It focused the Hope, Love and Will of the bearer, Which Remington had in spades. When he was charged to gather a band of men and destroy this evil that was threatening their world, He left his wife who he thought of every night while on his quest, and his children who he never had the chance to see grow up. The dark god Timmuseht had raised an ancient city from the sea to the north of Centeria, the capitol of Mericosium, and that is where he would rule the world of Tricon. Remington had taken his warriors and sailed north, battleing ferocious sea monsters and waves no man had seen before. When the band had touched on land the hordes of Timmuseht rallied to their master, The battle lasted nearly six days, With only Timmuseht and Remington standing at the start of the seventh day.

"YOU WILL NEVER WIN, YOU ARE BUT A MERE HUMAN!" boomed Timmuseht standing over twelve feet tall long limbs with thin fingers leading to sharp claws made of solid bone, the face of a goat thats been flayed open. Remington Weak from exhaustion extended his right hand with his sword pointing at Timmuseht, The long blade was thick with flesh and blood which made it thatmuch heavier. "THIS SWORD WILL STILL YOUR HEART BEAST" Remington yelled back, Timmuseht Laughed at this boast. Remington started walking forward and quickly picked up speed with both hands grasping his sword he tore into the flesh of the beast and Timmuseht fell kneeling with a deafening roar as Remingtons sword cut deep along the left leg. Timmuseht turned and before Remington could turn to parry the claws was impaled through the back, Remingtons body jerked as the monster slowly raised Remington off the ground and turned him to face his better. "I APPLAUDE YOUR TENACITY, YOU WOULD MAKE A WONDEROUS GENERAL FOR MY HORDES." Timmuseht then started to chant a spell. "USQUE AD MORTEM PRO ME TIBI FINEM" with his last bit of strength Remington managed to reach to his chest and take out the amulet. Feeling his mind cloud and his body ache he had one last thought of his Wife and Children, with the amulet now pointing at Timmuseht's chest Remington tried with all the strength he could muster into imaging the beast dead. As Timmuseht said the last word of his incantation his eyes went wide he looked down to see a large ethereal sword plunged into his chest, as he weakened Remington slid from his claws and the sword went with it cutting the Dark God in half.

Hours, Days, Months, Years later no one knows but Remington Awoke on that spot where he had died wounds healed, he looked at the Amulet of Lys in his hand and it started to burn. He threw the amulet to the ground picked up his sword and destroyed the Amulet, the resulting explosion threw peices of the amulet into the far reaches of the continent, Remington was never seen after that, no one knows what happened to him his wife never saw him and his children never knew their father.
"Father, Why do you tell the Children such...detailed stories?" Anna Fallow stood in the doorway to her childrens room. "MOM, we like those stories!" William cried out and quickly quieted as he saw his brother Joshua was asleep already. "I am just passing along a story I was told as a child, its history" he beamed. "Its rubbish those tales arent history, they are ment to scare little children to sleep" Anna said as she kisses the forehead of each child. Anna turned and walked out, Galford licked his finger and put out the candle "If only it was a story"
